Jake D. Miller, DDS

Picture of Dr. Miller

Dr. Miller lived in three countries as a child before settling in Dillsburg, PA where he went on to graduate from Northern High School in 2010.   In 2014, Dr. Miller received a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from Cedarville University.   Upon graduation, he worked as an engineer in North Carolina. He later went back to school at the University of Maryland School of Dentistry where he graduated top in his class.

Dr. Miller completed the general practice residency at Wellspan York Hospital in June 2021 and has been working with 1447 Dental Associates since that time.  With each patient Dr. Miller strives to be gentle, thorough, and compassionate.  He understands that having dental work done can be very difficult for many people and works hard to make patients as comfortable as possible.  He participates in several charitable dental organizations including Donated Dental Services, a March 2022 trip to Uganda with Hope Smiles (https://hopesmiles.org), and a January 2024 trip to Haiti with Three Strands.   Through Dr. Miller’s connection with Hope Smiles, 1447 Dental Associates began sponsoring Izuru village in Uganda.  Starting in 2023, the Hope Smiles dental team spends a week in Izuru village four times a year to provide access to dental care where it would not otherwise be available.

Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his wife, Rachel, and their three young kids.  They enjoy outdoor activities, cooking, eating, games, and being involved in their local church.
